Your responsibilities as Trainee Welding Inspector/Examiner:
- Support weld procedure and welder qualification testing on client sites
- Assist senior inspectors with inspections and technical assessments
- Ensure all activities meet relevant welding standards and compliance requirements
- Record and report inspection findings accurately and consistently
- Travel to sites across the UK to support ongoing testing and certification work
- Maintain safety and quality standards throughout all inspection activities
What we’re looking for in a Trainee Welding Inspector/Examiner:
- Background in welding, fabrication, or non-destructive testing
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in welding
- Experience carrying out or supporting weld inspections
- Understanding of welding processes, materials, and industry standards
- Full UK driving licence
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, with overtime available and sometimes required
