Support Worker - part-time, permanent

£13.80 per hour
A Support Worker is required on a part-time basis to work with a young man who lives in Whitley Bay.
This role would ideally suit someone who has experience working with adults/children with special educational needs and physical disabilities.
As a Support Worker, you will be caring for a young man with Cerebral Palsy and Autism who lives at home with his parents and who enjoys doing activities in the community, socializing and visiting places of interest in the local area.
What we’re looking for in a Support Worker:
We are looking for someone who has confidence to work autonomously and who has a positive outlook to support and encourage life skills, social interaction and activities of daily living.
Key requirements:
- Car driver.
- The post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check and reference checks.
- Proof of training and experience working in the care industry.
You will receive mandatory training as part of the job role and receive regular support from a Line Manager.
