Your responsibilities as Residential Support Worker at Compass:
  • Assist young people with daily routines, education and activities
  • Build strong, positive relationships that create trust and stability
  • Help maintain a safe, structured and supportive home environment
  • Assist with care plans, routines and developmental goals
  • Contribute to shift coordination and support less experienced staff where required
  • Complete reports, records and day-to-day household responsibilities

What we’re looking for in a Residential Support Worker:
  • Previous experience in residential childcare or supporting young people
  • Understanding of safeguarding and care planning processes
  • Experience working within structured residential or care environments
  • Ability to support or guide others within a team setting
  • Willingness to complete relevant childcare qualifications

Working hours: Shift work including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins
