Residential Support Worker - Children's Residential Home

£32,000 per annum
40 hours per week, plus 1 sleep-in per week
Are you a compassionate, dependable individual looking to make a real difference in young people's lives? We are recruiting for a Residential Support Worker to join teams across children's residential homes in Birmingham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to provide genuine, people-first support to young people, helping them feel safe, valued and supported as they grow.
Working pattern:
- 40 hours per week, plus 1 sleep-in per week
- 2 on, 4 off rota
- Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 10:30pm
- Weekends: 8:30am – 10:30pm
What you'll be doing as Residential Support Worker:
- Providing warm, consistent day-to-day support to young people living in the home
- Helping to create a safe, homely and nurturing environment
- Supporting young people with daily routines, activities and personal development
- Working closely with the wider team to deliver person-centred care
- Covering sleep-in shifts as part of the weekly rota
What we’re looking for for in a Residential Support Worker:
- A valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Right to Work in the UK – please note, sponsorship is not available for this role
- Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred but not essential
- Candidates with experience supporting young adults with learning disabilities, autism or mental health conditions are encouraged to apply
