Female* Support Worker - Barnard Castle, County Durham
Part-time - 16 hours & 1 sleep shift per week
£14.00 per hour
Driving Licence and own car essential

A Female Support Worker* is required for a specialist case management and rehabilitation company that provides Support Work, Case Management, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Medico Legal services to children and adults across North East England, North West England and Scotland.

This is a part-time role, working 16-hours and 1 sleep weekly. Additional hours for annual leave/sickness cover is available.

What you’ll be doing as Female Support Worker:
Your duties will include supporting a 22-year-old female client with social and leisure activities, and rehabilitation activities. Here is a message from her:

Hi, I am 22 years old and looking for support workers to join my team. I am interested in all things wildlife and need you to be comfortable around animals, you should be happy to support me in getting out and about, and on with my life. I’m interested in real life psychological crimes, and very passionate about nature programmes, in particular David Attenborough.

I am looking for day-to-day support, people who will work together to make sure I am well looked after. I live in my own home and need guidance and support to help me with live independently. What we’re looking for in a Female Support Worker:
  • You should have previous experience of working in the Health Sector.
  • UK Driving licence and car owner is essential.
  • Trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g. completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course).
