An established bathroom and kitchen installation business based in Kingswinford, working across domestic properties, is looking for an experienced Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter to join the team on preferably a self-employed basis, but permanent employed basis will be considered.
You will take jobs from start to finish - strip-out through to final finish - working in customers' homes and representing the business directly with clients.
What we offer:
- Pay rate for employed will be c. £35,000 - £40,000, and sub-contract day rate around £170 - £200. Rates will vary dependent on level of skill and experience and will be reviewed regularly.
- Regular Monday-Friday hours as long as jobs run to time
- Steady, local work throughout the year - minimal travel outside the region
- Labour price paid per job on inspection by company owner on completion
- Supportive team to help and advise where needed; long-term relationship with a growing, well-established local business
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years’) fitting both bathrooms and kitchens to a high standard.
- Own full set of professional hand and power tools (including router, jigsaw/track saw, levels, SDS)
- Own van and full UK driving licence
- Public liability insurance (self-employed applicants)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40-45 hours per week
